A Lonely Drive
Drizzles squashed to crystals
under the black noisy wipers..
drops sprayed on to cool breeze
woozed through tiny leaks
in my right door window
and were kissing my ears.
Soft tunes were dancing
to the beats of loosened screws
through my pretty old sterio..
glittering jewels so watery
decorated front glass
punishing lazy wipers
My eyes sometimes gazed
at those painted numbers
devoured by greedy milestones
and other times at
the biscuit packet going weightless,
the beast being myself....
